On Monday, November 6th at 6 pm CT, please join Lit. on Fire Books, in partnership with My Writing Shed, as we PROUDLY welcome the one and only Trans Handy Ma’am, Mercury Stardust on their book signing tour in support of her debut release “Safe and Sound: A Renter’s Friendly Guide to Home Repair!”

We strongly encourage you to preorder through us to help give us an idea of how many folks will be in attendance for the signing and to help keep those support dollars local!
Things to Know:
-Doors will open promptly at 6 pm with the line beginning at the main entrance to Lit. on Fire Books at 712 W. Main St.. We will have volunteers and security present to help guide the line and answer any questions and provide support during this event.
– This event will run from 6-8 pm, but please try to arrive by 7 pm to claim your spot in line. Mercury will do her absolute best to meet with every one of you and get your books signed even if she has to stay late, but we cannot guarantee it, so please keep this in mind when planning for the event. Street parking and free public lot parking are both available on our block.
-A limited number of books will be available to purchase in store at the time of the event, but they will be first come first serve, so please consider preordering from Lit. on Fire Books to ensure we have enough books for everyone!
-We will have a selfie station and photographer with a cell phone tripod on site to handle your phone selfies during your book signing and meet and greet experience.
-We will also have a helper available who will be carrying markers and sticky note pads to ask everyone in line for any special inscriptions, dedications, verify name spellings, etc. to be placed with your book so Mercury has a clear and legible view of what she will be signing for you. You may wish to think ahead and be sure to give your sticky note(s) to Mercury when it’s your turn to get your book signed!
-We will be receiving a small number of pre-signed book plates from the publisher to give to any of you who may have preordered the book from us but then discover you will be unable to attend the event to receive a signature for yourself.
-Last but certainly not least, I would like to make a personal plea with you to strongly consider masking indoors to help us keep our immunocompromised community members safe. Please do not attend if you are feeling sick, and please consider doing a rapid test before arriving at the event if you are able to do so.
